SSIFL Online is the digital learning division of the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages (SamSIFL) — a specialist higher education institution based in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, founded in 1994. Through SSIFL Online, students anywhere in the world can enroll in our internationally accredited bachelor's degree programs without relocating to Uzbekistan.
The institution itself is not new. SamSIFL has been operating for over 30 years and has served more than 13,000 students through its on-campus programs. What is new is the online delivery format — launched for the first time in 2026.
SamSIFL is located at 43 Gagarin Street, Samarkand 140117, Republic of Uzbekistan. Samarkand is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world — a historic centre of scholarship, culture, and international exchange on the ancient Silk Road.
As an online student, you do not need to visit or relocate to Samarkand. All of your coursework, classes, and faculty access are delivered through our online platform.
SamSIFL was founded in 1994 — making it one of Central Asia's most established specialist institutions for language education, linguistics, literature, translation, and intercultural communication. Over 13,000 students have studied at the institution's on-campus programs across more than 30 years of operation.
The SSIFL Online program launched in 2026 — offering online access to SamSIFL's academic expertise for the first time in the institution's history.
SSIFL Online is the online program. SamSIFL (Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages) is the institution that offers it. Your degree certificate will be issued by the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages — a 30-year-old accredited academic institution. SSIFL Online is the name of the delivery format.
